Invented in the 17th Century by the Turkish, Palama's Hammam towels, or Turkish towels, are not only beautiful, soft and quick drying but also functional.
Use them as a beach towel, a sarong, a tablecloth, a picnic blanket, a baby wrap or simply wrap it around yourself and walk up to the beach bar...the possibilities are endless.
Made using 100% sustainable, hand picked Turkish cotton which is OEKO-TEX certified, Palama's towels are 100% made in Turkey. Our tassels are hand tied by our local artisans.
The Baskets of Bolgatanga, Ghana, West Africa
Our baskets are made in Northern Ghana, by the indigenous people of Bolgatanga. Bolga is the craft capital of Northern Ghana, featuring a large marketplace. We source the best weavers and our baskets are weaved to order.
The baskets are handmade from elephant grass. The grass is harvested in the forests, 500km to the South and then trucked north to Bolgatanga.
The grass is dried for several days then split with the teeth into 2 strands. These strands are then twisted together to strengthen the grass.
Next the strands are boiled and dyed to give the vibrant colours you see on our finished baskets. The dyed strands are then dried in the sun.
The weaving process is next, from the base up to the rim. Then the handle. Our handles are fitted with goat leather to make the handles stronger and more comfortable. They are also connected to the body of the basket by leather to further strengthen them.
The basket is then trimmed to give the nice, smooth finish you find on our premium Bolga baskets.
It takes about 5 days to finish just 1 basket.
Our Turkish towels are perfect for those who love yachting and boating as they are SO quick drying and are sand repellent!

We Absolutely love these flameless LED candle sets. We turn them on every night to enjoy the magical ambience with some sultry jazz and a glass of refreshment. These authentic looking candles last an incredibly long time and are better than fire candles since the danger and fuss are completely eliminated. All we have to do is click the remote, sit back and enjoy. Candle Bliss!

I purchased these candles because of the affordable price, I was really wanting battery operated candles but the store I was going to purchase from had them for over $300!!! So I did a little research and came across Palama living.
